4600+1500+2000+1000+600+400 nope 10,100... im trying to kill these credit cards in 11 months which is doable, but with an evo over the horizon could drop me back to 3.5 years, i might have to reconsider

I've never been in credit card debt and I've had them for 9 years. It's just throwing money away... and a lot of it! Honestly, if you have credit card debt, you have no business buying a new car, especially anything as much as an Evo. Get out of debt first, and then you can think about getting a car you want.

i was putting about 500 bucks a month down to pay it all off, more when i could. i was netting about 2800/month at the time, and i think it took me about a year and a half. the important part is willing to make some sacrifices, but don't go crazy and cut everything out.

that said, the evo is the most expensive thing in my life right now by far. insurance is raping me and i would really like to either lower that or i might even get out of the car altogether. gotta buy a house someday you know.
