I think the biggest plus of Ralliart stuff is that it is "factory" approved. Ralliart is part of and I cant see how the dealers can ever deny you any service or warranty work on your car because of the Ralliart parts. Also, Ralliart makes all their stuff with full cooperation of .... So the engineering should be spot on and at least theoretically, they should make the best parts available for the EVO

this was kind of my exact thoughts... i know my service dept is pretty good about doing stuff to begin with, but i figure with Ralliart, i should get no haggles whatsoever...

i also don't mind paying the extra loot to get a quality product...

I agree if you have the money go for it also your resale will be better. I am getting as much Ralliart as possible but I went with Buschur Racing for the full exhaust it can't be beat so far plus they are R&Ding the car and doing great. I am putting together a Ralliart type car I will post in a few weeks when I am done. Go with http://www.z1auto.com/ speak with Adam he is great tell him Lou tipped you off. I just placed a bunch of Ralliart parts with him a big boat is leaving end of the month from Japan so you could get on with that order so shipping will be minimal.

I'm willing to bet the people at my dealer have no idea what Ralliart even is and could care less about their association with Mitsu. If they see aftermarket on the car..most likely I'll be saying bye-bye to the warranty.

I know Subaru dealers offer STi option parts for the WRX, like the exhaust system, and those parts are NOT covered in a warranty.

I've heard stories on Iclub of people whos' dealers denied them service due to dealer installed STi parts, but I cannot confirm this.

If you go aftermarket, you'll run into service people that won't want to honor the warranty, regardless of who makes the parts. That much seems to be certain.

Service managers are going to try to find any reason to deny the warranty work. AFAIK, they can only deny it IF they can prove the aftermarket part caused the damage..
