Evo IX Dyno Numbers After a Road Tune!

Hey guys. I got my car tuned last friday and i had it dynoed today on dyno jet. I got 320 whp at 6800 and 292 torque at 3400. I have a 3 inch turbo back, intake, boost controller and a fuel pump and i am runnung 22 psi. What do you all think??? AMS did my tune when they were in DC last friday. When i got the dyno i was told that the car is running too rich and i would be able to take out a few more horses. Plus as i am looking at the dyno sheet i see that it was dynoed up to 6600 and my limit is set to 7800.. I can see that its constantly growing all the way to 6600 and thats where the dyno ends. Should i assume that i might get higher if it goes all the way to 7800???

The torque is very low, but the HP is only a little low. IXs usually achieve and expect much more than that for those mods on 93 with a custom tune. No, it doesn't matter where your rev limiter is set - we don't keep making power up there. We typically hit peak WHP around 6600-6800rpm depending on mods/boost/altitude, but cutting the run off at 6600 is definitely premature. There's no reason for them to do that, and I would be a little pissed. 7000 at least is where they should go, but I usually take it to 7500rpm just to see exactly how much power is falling off up top and to monitor my AFRs.

For reference, my stg1 typically nets ~330whp/wtq, but that's without an intake and with a mail-in flash. With some mods, some have reached 355whp with custom tuning.

On the bright side, it still whoops just about any VIII with the same mods in terms of WHP (not WTQ).

Do you know why the torque might be lower?

Weak timing at peak boost, low actual boost, or a boost leak. You say you're at 22psi, but was this confirmed via MAP sensor log or just your boost gauge?

It was just boost guages. I got two in the car. My boost controller is the e-boost 2
and its an actual guage and the i still have the stock one in the car.. I havo not done a boost check yet and the tune was perfermed by AMS. dont think that the timing would be wrong, do you?

My friend made those exact numbers with the Buschur/Warrtalon Stage 1 package but was at 21psi on 93 octane.
