How much did you pay for your Evo IX SE?
Just talking about a brand new 2006 Evo IX SE.
Looks like most dealers want about $32,000 for them.
South Coast, Long Beach, and Victorville advertise them for $29,999.
I think one guy on here said he paid $29,587 with an employee sponsorship program.
Another guy claimed he only paid $29,054 or thereabouts, which seems incredibly cheap.
Please reply with the amount that you or someone you know paid for an Evo IX SE.
Thanks!

I don't understand the point of this thread. Just because somebody got theirs for 31xxx, that doesn't mean you will. Go to edmunds.com, find out what invoice is, found out what MSRP is, and start looking online at local dealer inventory. When you find some SE's start calling the fleet managers, tell them they have the make and model you want, and ask what they're willing to do the deal for. Repeat. Rinse. Get a good price.

i paid a grand less... only because all they had on the lot was a WW MR and a WW SSL and i wanted the EB or GG. So to keep me from going somewhere else, thats what they offered... it worked considering i was rolling over a few grand from my trade.

Guys, could you please list the full dollar amount? I've noticed that the mysterious "invoice" amount varies from dealer to dealer, state to state, and week to week, so saying "500 over invoice" isn't specific enough. I would be grateful if you would list the actual full purchase price of the car, not including trade in reduction or government fees (tax, title). Also when and where you purchased would help. Thanks!

Invoice is invoice, period.
Invoice on a IX SE is $31,837.
(I paid $29,587 + tax/title/fees)
basically cheapest ur gonna get it is 29587 like pessimistick got and thats what i'm getting with employee discount.
There was a guy that said he got cheaper than employee discount, but I remember him saying that his family owns car dealerships, so thats not really fair. Only way I can see getting cheaper than employee discount is if you were using employee discount on a car that had been testdriven alot.
I definitely wouldn't recommend saving 500 dollars for a car that was beat up by the stupid salesman.
If you are getting below or around invoice without employee pricing then I think you are getting more than a fair deal.
With that said I still have not been able to decide on a Black SE and a Black MR. Difference in price would be like 3K to me. The MR would be way more rare and comes with the MR goodies, but I still have doubts about the 6-speed.
