dude, anybody that has car damage, takes pics! thats like the first thing you do, you say "ahh S#it" and then go take pics.

We all live for carnage.

edit: example. I stress cracked my windshield right now the middle. It was on track, and I got it on vid as i was coming in to pit. You can watch the windshield split right now the middle, and hear the PING PING PING of it splitting. Thats carnage at it's prime

a local guy here got hit by a buzzard in the head on his bike. there were about ten witnesses riding with him. it knocked him out. luckily his bike rolled for a while before he veered off course into a ditch.

About a year ago, a deer ran into the side of my car. The cop that came and took a look at it (for my insurance company i needed a police report) swore that i did a hit and run.

I got ya. Probem is within three hours the window and the majority of the "dent" were fixed.

So I've got two dilemmas here:

(1) I have two small tears in the dash lid from flying glass.

(2) I have a residual "dimple" left over that cannot be removed by a dent puller. It also can only be seen in the right light and the right angle. I have had three people look at the car. I've told them what happened and ask them to find the body damage - no one has been able to find it yet (unfortuantely, however, I know it's there.........)

My insurance will let me take the car to whomever I want. The local Mitsu dealership isn't half bad and they have a body shop. It's a given that I'm going to have the rear door and panel sprayed for the small chips from the glass fallout.

But if the remaining dent is not noticeable is it really worth it to have a body shop fill it with filler? Would you have the dealer body shop do this or take it to the local "popular" body shop?

The reason why I ask is that I hear replacing the dash lid is a *****. I would rather entrust the dealership to R&R that than some body shop.

Any suggestions are welcome.

for every turkey u have eaten u got this turkey striking back.
before any repair do your homework and ask around for good and bad comments to where u plan to get your car fixed.
