I looked at an Evo 8 today that I am about to buy. But the HKS Idle stabilizer is hanging from the wires and down on the passengers feet almost, and when you hit it with your foot, the car nearly dies. The shop before apparently wired it wrong. I get really nervous when I go to buy a car and the has been touched. I told the owner to take it to a shop and rip it out of there, then I'll buy it (after I hear it run, of course)
Will this damage the ECU with errent signals and shorts coming from the HKS Idle stabilizer?

 

Tell him to rip it out along with the VTA BOV the which is probably the reason that the Idle stabilizer is in there in the first place
