Well, were heading out @ 0700 hrs tomorrow morning, should be in Atlanta around 3:00-3:30 pm. We'll be meating Roro4G63 somwhere on 575.
Since there are several people staying @ Fontana Village, I figure we can leave from there, head to the Fontana Dam and then on up to the Dragon, all the way thru down to the river along the TN. side to see if any one is there, then backtrack along the "Dragon to the Tree of shame" and break for lunch. We'll then make the rest of our plans based upon what seems best.

looking forward to seeing you all there!

We are leaving at 7:30 am in the morning, we should be at Fontana at 10 am. We have to unload the stuff and get ready to go to the dragon. I will PM you my cell phone although I doubt it will work up there. We have some two way radios, what channel are you going to be on?

Got back from today at the Gap. Sure wish I had gone yesterday - RAIN RAIN and more RAIN today. Still was a blast. The rain kept the motorcyclists at bay a tad, which was good for the safety route. From what I know - it was a safe day. Special thanks to Sgt. Blamo for man handling the event.

It was great to meet you guys - although, I'm never good with names, so we'll need to do some recalls on that.

Here's a teaser for you guys:

Here is a link to some pictures from Saturday. Like I said, the RAIN had set in hard. Also, keep in mind, my co-pilot was shooting pics inside the car - which was not an ideal situation, nor is he any type of photographer. Thus a lot of blurry pics. I kept a lot of them, because they convey the dreary day and they convey motion. Some of them are down right artsy.

Enjoy

Excellent photography! Especially considering the hideous conditions. Some of those are such long exposures, it's a wonder anything is NOT blurry, but they all have something in them that is pretty sharp.

Hey guys,
I had a GREAT time up there and enjoyed meeting all you guys(and girls)! That was by far the most fun I've ever had in my Evo. Although It was my 2nd time on the Dragon, I'm not new to the TN/NC twisty mountain roads as I used to live in Maryville,TN.
Friday was the day though, couldn't have asked for better conditions, The LORD really blessed us with that one! I met some really cool guys on the bikes, one of them was named Ryan, that boy could ride! he invited me to follow him on the Dragon and I did, what a blast. Then I follwed Ryan and his two other friends back down to the gas station. You've never seen anything so cool as 3 bikes weaving back and forth going thru the turns! Amazingly I stayed with them the whole way. The suspension work that Robi( http://robispec.com/main.html ) did on my car is best money I ever spent, hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Darryl for the recommendation of Nov, who would've thought that we would get 80's & sunny this time of year?!
