Guess some people just have 2F2F in their blood.

Exactly. To the people defending the wing for it's functionality, please spare us. You would only see benefits from the wing on the track, and very minimal benefits at that. Most evo owners who are serious about track times use time attack wings.

Well I am glad to see that most evo owners on here bought the car for the driving experience, not the "boy-racer" in them that fell in love with the wing lol

Hope this thread inspires more to join the wingless army

to wing or not to wing... I could'nt decide.

So why dont you all just go buy a Ralliart Lancer and turbo it. the reason for these cars are to be driven on the track. awd is used for the autocross track. you want a car that you wont get pulled over in, no wing, and all the other reasons you guys use, then sell the Evo to someone that knows how to use them and buy a lancer or something.

So what are you saying....AWD, 4G63 turbo, and a rally suspension can ONLY be enjoyed on the track?

When you understand what you buy, you will see that a wingless EVO is just another fast car...There is a whole philosophy behind this car....Japan Style...

yeah i like it better with the wing than without...

I used to love that evo when it had the stock wing but now its just another evo... I donno the wing completes the look for me... the trunk on a wingless evo looks short and ugly as hell... makes the car look incomplete to me because it doesn't match the aggresive front end.. what I don't get are the people who take off the wing to be stealthy but add a bunch of other things suchs as blacked out lights, front lip, wide body, and big flashy volk or w/e rims..
