Like the other guy said if its for pure road racing etc the CTR is definitely the choice to take, but if you plan to just track it every once in awhile, it's gotta be the supra. Weekend drivers are more about you wanna show off your car in it's all around form, more people will take notice of a nice supra > nice ctr... imo at least. But I'm a little biased, I like hondas but I'm big fan of Supras

Search some videos on youtube for some supras and tell me what u'd rather have a hot *** supra with insane power that'll definitly get u the pussay....or a RHD honda that will get all the JDM dudes hard ons? Not dissin the hondas though...it's just like comparing a mercedes to kia in pickin a car thats meant to be a show stopper/weekend crusier.

dammit...it was late at night when I read the original post and I thought the civic was a Rear Wheel Drive converstion, not a Right Hand Drive conversion lol. The point I was trying to make in my confusion was that a RWD civic was unsafe to drive at the edge.

I say get a supra. I happen to be surrounded by many of them in my family. 2 98 twin turbo supras, one getting single turbo very soon, 1 1jz swap mk3 and 1 2jz swap mk3...so yes supra ftw...

I've always been a fan of CTR's, and Both are great cars. It all depends on what you're going for though. As stated before by Willum... if you are going for pure road racing, pick up the CTR. Otherwise, I would buy the supra.

That's just me..

If things fall through with the CTR, could you pm me some info (location, etc), and price? My roommate is on the market for a hatch, and this looks to be right up his alley.

Personally, I'd go with the Supra. Rare or not, to me a Civic is still a Civic.

how about a third option.. turn the evo into a weekend monster and buy a nice daily driver.
get the supra otherwise, they are badass. i know the honda is cool, but its just another honda at the end of the day

Well from what I heard, the Supra doesn't handle too well. So if all you are looking for is big straight line power than obviously the Supra. However that is just something I heard and maybe someone's experience is different. I would love for that rumor to not be true, I personally love the Supra. I am kinda over the honda thing, there has got to be another option for you.
