well you may have seen my post yesterday talking about maybe getting rid of my bike to put a nice down on the evo. i got rid of an evo already, which i loved, and kicked myself in the *** every day for it. figure i love the bike too and will do the same if i get rid of it. kept the bike and went and bought me an evo. payment is reasonable and i get a nice *** raise at work in july so ill make due, plus i get to have my two toys.
bought at biggers mitsu in elgin IL, where i bought my last one in 2003. the guy i bought from then no longer works there, but he trained and is good friends with the guy i met today. gave me a nice deal. i think he said MSRP is 32xxx, i got for 30 OTD. thats a fair deal. they have to get it from another dealship about 30 miles away (they had only silver at biggers) so i had to wait for a while but im glad i got the red it really is sharp.

im enjoying it all over again. i sat in that recaro, of course the new suede trimmed one, haha, and it felt like i never left.
one thing i will say though is that the drivetrain of the IX feels way stiffer and tighter than the 8. the 8 felt like the train was loose and it was very notchy. i had 30K miles on mine when i sold it and never had a problem, so it wasnt bad, just like the feel of this one better.
