Well if it helps I basically never, ever Launch the car. I think launching in a AWD car is a problem waiting to happen. I've launched the car a total of 9 times and I probably wont launch it again.


However I do like hitting the open highway from time to time. 2nd gear rolls from time to time.

 

 

Some stockers last awhile and some dont. Just depends on how good you can launch a car.

 

Yeah, that didn't make much sense.

But if you keep going at it, your going to have to replace it sooner or later.

damn stock clutch on stage IV even? i always thought it can't even handle stage 1 just daily driving....interesting...

looks like no launches and correct stick shift driving = long lasting clutch.

is there any info on how much torque the stock clutch can handle before it just breaks? i'm talkin about just daily driving a car with that much torque with occasional WOT pulls, no launches.

You've launched it quite a bit, so don't expect it to last long once you do the Buschur stage 1 if you keep on doing it and posting your kills and losses on clubrsx.com

 

Stock clutch here also. Basically a moddified BR stage 1, with 40k miles on her. Not many launches at all though, but I do tend to put the car through it's paces on the twisties.

 

stock clutch stage #4 6k feels like new still.

 

damn this is awesome news....this means after around 1000 dollars and 330whp i wont need a new clutch yet damn it i dont think i can sleep tonight...

 

the stock clutch can't handle the stock HP.
