Can stock clutch handle bushur stage 1?

Getting ready to order a bushur stage 1 and I was wondering if the stock clutch will hold the power.

What clutch is the best for daily driving and holds good power?

Thanks.

Still on my stocker with buschurs stage 2, hpf licp, SS o2 housing, and 272/264 cams. Seems to be holding out fine with my car currently at 28k

I had the stock clutch with the buschur stage one, along with cams. It lasted 22,000. It felt fine but I wanted to replace it with my next upgrade, although it didn't look like there was much left to it.

Its all going to depend on how much you beat on it or even drive the car in general. Yes we have seen stock cars come in needing a clutch. Launches kill the stock clutch FAST.

My car had 11,700 miles on it before I changed the clutch and that was with our stages 1-4....I then added the AEM EMS and 3065 and it was still fine on pump gas (no launches). Tuned it for race gas and it didnt like that one bit. lol

I think you will be ok for now and probably for awhile.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to ask.

Same here at 25.5k. Had stage 4 (minus injectors) on the car for about 16k now. Can't beat the stock clutch for daily driving. High-RPM launches is a different story.

My stock clutch lasted 25k with buschur stages 1-3.

I also had multiple launches on it.

Hope that helps,

Eric
