Who saw the Motortrend speed test on Speedvision today- Wow!

Ten car shootout, here's the line up:

Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Dodge Viper SRT-10
Ferrari 575M Maranello
Ford Mustang SVT Cobra
Jaguar XKR
Lamborghini Murcielago
Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
Mosler MT900 Photon
Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

First test was a five mile oval for top speed- Lamborghini- over 200mph, EVO came in second to last @ 156

Here's where it gets good:

Slalom- EVO second!!!! 71.4 mph

0-60- EVO 4.59 (eighth)

1/4 mile- EVO 13.08 (eighth)

60-0- EVO 106' (fourth), Viper sets new record

100-0 EVO 292 (tied w/ for third w/ the Z06!)

The best test IMO was a new test- a large figure eight, that ultimates tests cornering/acceleration and braking- EVO fifth, just a tenth behind the Z0-6.

Overall the EVO did exceptional well, two of the cars were just under $300,000! The EVO under $30,000!

Hope this isn't old news, I just saw it today on the tube.

Edited w/ correct #'s/finishes

Pretty good compared to $300,000 cars!
