Greddy TI louder than AMS???

Is the Greddy Titanium exhaust louder that the AMS? I have heard the AMS but I have not had a chance to hear the Greddy TI in person. Just clips on the net and we all know how good trying to judge an exhaust on computer speakers can be .

If you have the money and track go Greddy Ti. It's lighter and proven to make a lot of power. LIghter = bettter handles, braking, accelration etc. It's easy to save near 100 pounds off the fatass evo wieght with a ti exhaust, taking the spare, getting lighter rims, small light weight battery etc.

Go Greddy TI...not only is it one of the better looking exhaust systems out there, it's freaking light as heck. I have it on my car and the loudness of it doesn't bother me at all. I can hear other Evo's with different exhaust over mine while on the freeway so it can't be that bad. Also, do a search on exhaust systems because before I purchased mine nearly two and a half years ago there was a huge thread on all of the major exhaust systems and the power gains experienced with nearly each of them. If I remember correctly it pretty much boiled down to Buschur Racing's exhaust and Greddy's as far as which systems flowed the best due to the least amount of bends.

I have cams in my 03 with 10.5, invidia o2, helix dp, perrin tp and GReddy Ti cat back and it is quite loud. The stock exhaust is over 35 lbs and my Ti is about 10 lbs. The silencer insert does quiet it down but I would not think that would be very safe on a car that is tuned for the higher flow. I could be wrong on this but its just not right to get an awesome exhaust like that and then put a cork in it!

why not get a resonated tp then the sound won't be 2 bad. i personally have a 3'' UR dp, a 3" HFC and an Invidia catback. I was told invidia is the quietest when i did a search and opened a thread about it. Well i tried putting the testpipe and cat back before i even had the dp and the sound made the interior vibrate and on idle i wouldn't even stand it. Now i'm considering either a resonated tp or maybe just putting the silencer on the catback. I hope to try both ways very soon and see what is loud enough for me to like but not enough to drive me nutz.....
