Its better than the evo for drag... Look a ryan woon, 1400 whp on a stock six speed. 400 whp will brake any evo tranny on many launches.

I guess they're OK cars, certainly nothing I'd ever own. An EVO is about as far down the boy racer road as I can go.

YOU GUYS ARE TOO CONFIDENT WHEN IT COMES TO AN EVO.

Keep in mind that it can't always win!

They are really strong motors... The best 4 cyl Gm ever put out.... But its no 4g63 or sr20. Car for car the EVO brings a much better package! I will never dis on any ones car. But this is an EVO forum where the EVO is king. redline/srt4 just didnt have it like the evo and never will (stock)... stock 4 stock you get what you paid for.
Yes this is an Evo forum.

You make some good intelligent points.
After all I should be biased, I obviously drive an Evo.

Yea it would be close in a drag race and from a rolling 60 im sure he would take you by a car or so . From a launch you should put it down

An Ion Redline has just as many doors, the car looks like an actual sports car with its coupe look, and guess what... they have recaro seats too! Nice try though!

However, performance wise they are awful from a dig. Very easy to spin those front wheels. I always told myself that it would be my perfect car if it was only RWD or AWD. The supercharger also tends to run out of breath at the high RPMs.
