you could insall a racebar harness to use racing seat belts. However this will make the rear seats dangerous to use, and cause more harm to the driver/passanger if you do happen to get in an accident.

https://www.evolutionm.net/features/.../projectevo/55 That bar is good, Just need some harnes now, 4pt work good. My personal Favorite is Sparco,e more economical than most and Unbeatable quailty.

If you're really hardcore, you could take off the rear seats. I think there's a place under them to connect the 4/5pt harness.

I've seen people using the bar but wouldn't you have to find somewhere to get rid of the extra 4ft of belt?

The Schroth Rallye 4 (4 point) harness attaches to stock belt mounting locations and had a quick release buckle behind the front seat that allows reaer passenger room. This system also allows you to keep the stock belts.

I swear by mine - especially in the canyons - keeps me snug in the seat.

I installed a GSC Bar and 5 Point harnesses in my IX. Here is a link with pictures and other info you may need.
