ive had plenty of friends who have progressive and have never had a problem... maybe im in the minority but ive been in 4 accidents my whole short life and have never called my insurance companies to start a claim against another driver... i always call the other guys 1st and only. hell my current insurance isnt even aware that i had 4 accidents in my 1st evo, lol... though none were my fault.

I dont know if you guys care to know......but......My Viper insurance is exactly the same as my Evo insurance.....come to think about it ...I pay $30 more for the Evo every six months....and dont ask me how much I pay please...I try to forget.

The Evo has the most expensive insurance compared to ALL the cars I owned..I sometimes think that people with payments should consider other more expensive cars with less insurance....since your paying monthly anyways

I dropped Geico like a hot potato a few years back when they sent me their newsletter magazine thing and it had an article written for parents telling them what to look for to know if their kids were into "street racing" -- things like, if your kid has installed a front strut bar, he could be illegally street racing...

It was such a biased load of crap article, I switched providers pretty much next chance I had. I'd hate to think what they would say if they saw my car...

$500 deductible. Very easy to pay that if needed. And if I get crunched, then I'm not at fault and I don't have to pay it anyway. I look at the deductible as a "you were dumb" tax. If I was to screw up, my insurance company will tax me $500.

$111 per month for my Evo and a 2001 New Beetle for my wife. My deductible is $500 with a clean record. I'm glad I am not younger and have an Evo. Reading some of the other posts and their rates makes me cringe.
