there are a ton of threads on this already. insurance is not something that you can compare with others, as there are sooo many factors that affect rates. as you can see just from the posts above, you already have a huge gap.
search the other threads and you will probably find every $$ amount under the sun for insurance.

thats why asked about age and model.... I know through progressive insurance is cheaper for the RS then the other two. and with age come discounts... I just wanted to see what people were complaining so much about... I pay 292 with 500 deductable.... cant remeber the coverage but i know its more the the basic... and i have two huge tickets.... 93+ in a 65 and 92 in a 55.... so mine is reasonable for a twenty year old.... I havent had a ticket in two and half years so its about to drop...

$102 / month with a $1,000 deductible, full coverage, towing, and $30 / day car rental. I have one ticket, which makes me lose my safe driver's discount for this year. And this is all in Mass where car insurance is regulated, so Geico, Progressive, and a whole lot of other companies are not an option for me. If I can stay out of trouble and get my discount back, then my payments will drop to somewhere around $85 / month. Unless I decide to go with a $500 deductible next year.

I am 21 and pay $233 per month with life insurance... I was paying upwards of $600 per month with state farm. I just recently switched to allstate and am on some sort of commercial insurance plan. I dont have a great driving record at all, most other places wanted over $500 for insurance...Just look around and ask a lot of questions try to get the best deal...thats what I did...

That's weird that the RS would be cheaper... How much cheaper (as a percentage)?

On one hand, the RS has no ABS, and all insurers give a discount for ABS, which the RS would NOT be eligible for. But on the other hand, the RS has no power door locks, making it significantly more difficult to break into (without smashing a window, of course).

My insurance is $91 a month on my 2006 Evo IX SE. $250k/$500k coverage limits, $100/$500 deductable, limited tort, listed as "pleasure vehicle" (under 7500mi/yr). For comparison sake, my 2000 Honda S2000 has the exact same coverage and status as my Evo, but the Evo costs a whopping 40% MORE to insure.
