If you want to use the stroker kit to use a bigger turbo and make more power, you'll need a stronger head gasket, head bolts, camshafts, a fuel pump, injectors, etc.
OT-I noticed your signature just now. Is that 1050 bhp in your Evo?

ShapeGSX: Why not just use a 7bolt 4g64 crank? It isnt ideal as far as r/s ratio goes but I think it would be easier than getting a whole 64 block in there.
I know this is newbie question , but still, where could I ask for 4G64 block or crankshaft, which model originally uses that block ?
Thanks.

The 4 cylinder Eclipse uses the block. So does the Galant. Actually, it is used in lots of Mitsubishi cars.

The only issue is finding out whether the head and block will bolt up, and which headgasket will work. I'm certain that the block and head will bolt together. But sometimes not all the oil and coolant ports line up perfectly with the head gasket.

Don't underestimate the power of a stock DSM crank. John Sheperd is laying down 8 second runs on a stock crank with an estimated 850whp.

HP is HP
2.0L makes more power than 2.2 Stroker.
2.0L makes more power than 2.4 Block.

Short stroke, means high HP but less torque, as you stoke, the opposite is true.

That money would be better spent buying better internals (same size..2.0L), and a stand alone so you can rev up to 9k. That would probably give at least as much hp if not more, plus you don't lose as much torque.

keep in mind that a larger displacement brings into play other issues that one has to keep in mind.

the fuel system and especially the head will need upgrading due to the larger volume of air flowing throw the ports. a professional head port job will be a must to take advantage of the larger displacement.

its something for more of a hardcore racer to do. it should be placed towards the buttom of the things to do list.

the effort would be much better spent on a better intercooler and turbo to increase boost to higher levels.
