i have an 2004 VIII... my car is in the shop right now (after a fender bender 3days after i got it!!! but thats besides the piont) and i cant look at it... so does the 04's need a test pipe with the o2 bung thing welded in it. or does the o2 sensor go somewhere else.
i've searched... couldn't find a specific answer

Depends. If you get a testpipe you will need a cel fix. The UR testpipe the bung is the fix. I am not sure if the megan is the same

 

i installed that exact tp on my IX today. used the mechanical fix..no codes.

 

ok.. i hear every body with the IX saying they need the bung thing, i know that much...
but does the VIII need it? where does the o2 sensor go on the VIII?

i like my invidia, look pretty gnarly if you ask me and i use the 5 bucks anti-fouler o2 cheat.
