sw oil pressure gauge

I recently recieved my stewart warner oil pressure gauge wich i ordered from 42draftdesigns.com. i am having problems with the reading of the gauge. when at partial throttle and wide open throttle the needle vibrates (jumps) all over the place. the only time the needle is consistent is at idle (20psi). i have triple checked all of the wiring and triple checked for correct grounding of the sending unit. at this time i am at a loss of what else the problem could be from. hopefully its just a faulty sending unit. any other ideas what it could be?

just an update for anyone searching in the future because i couldnt find anything. i called 42draftdesigns today and they are sending me a new sender. hopefully that will fix it. i am going to go ahead and mount the sender to the firewall and run stainless line from the fitting at the oil filter to the sender. this way i wont have to worry about the sender going bad.
