its very easy to pull out, there are like 2 tabs on the bottom, it doesn't weigh a whole lot, but if you're trying to take out everything possible for weight reduction i guess it would be gone pretty quickly

Easy to do but hardly any weight. If you are autoxing then it depends on class. If you are SM, remove them because it is easier to haul race tires. It's not allowed in any other class.
If this is for daily driving, removing the rear seats is plain dumb.

theres really no point, ive taken them out plenty of times just for running wires through or installing a fuel pump, and it only weighs like a pound or two and mines leather haha. keep them in especially if its a daily driver

I keep mine out and I'm a daily driver and daily surfer, but its cause I can fit my surfboard in and keep my front passenger seat up. Also in the winter months it nice cause I lay my snowboard thru and dont have to worry about it scratching the seats and doors. I've thought about removing the \ / behind the seat and having a flat bar welded for support of the seat, but mainly so I can put a pad on it to support my board.

I dont want a rack.

Good idea for space, bad idea for weight.

just leave it, removing the back seat is only going to cut like 3 lbs.

Not worth it, if every 100lb reduction = .10 off your qtr mile et whats the 3 lbs from the rear seat worth....0

i do it for autox why not. it is actually like 9 lbs lol. it is so easy to do why not if you are racing but it does make the ride a lot louder, the exhaust is a lot louder and you can hear the fuel pump whistling which gets kinda annoying.

OMG.. are we driving Civics now(pulling the rears seats) just install your boost controller and get some alky and a tune. That should make up for the 10lbs in the rear!
