Racing clutch but still good for daily driver?

Hey guys im looking for a clutch that would be able to handle quite a bit of power, but something that would still be comfortable and safe to daily drive...

I've been looking at some different twin discs and I know they can take a bit to get used to, but when you get used to them are they that bad?

also looking for a good flywheel to go with it... any suggestions?

only mods of now are TBE

dont know alot about the twin disks, but the act hdss clutch and streetlight flywheel arent to bad for daily driving. Act claims that it will hold a good amount of power also

I've driven both the exedy twin and act hdss now, both are suitable for daily driving. The act has a stiffer pedal but smoother engagement then the exedy twin which has a very stock like pedal pressure but grabs a little stronger. I personally think I'm going the exedy twin route.

All you have is exhaust you should not need a new clutch yet. I had 30,000 miles on my stock clutch in my BBY car before it got totaled and it was not showing any sign of slipping. That car had more mods then yours and was run much harder then yours has (3 years of autox).

I had an exedy twin, it got fried, and now I am on an ACT hdss with the gruppe-s flywheel, I went with the underhood metal bushings, stainless clutch line and 8 piece metal bushing set. So far i like the ACT better. Then again i am still breaking it in, so I wont know for sure until I step on it. Peddle engagement is immediate, and over all its really pretty easy to drive. FYI my exedy twin wasnt broken in properly by the previous owner, so that may be why its fried. But overall I like the feel of the ACT.

I never had one but from searching on here I would say the exedy twin disc. The ACT might be able to "handle" the power but you cant use any because you cant shift with the damn thing. I cant wait to get rid of my act for a exedy.

Exedy Twin is the way to go... very easy to drive and will last you a long long time if not abused. I've abused mine for almost 30k now with probably 100+ drag launches and it's just starting to give way. Twin disc ftw
