Anyone has experiencing in shipping a car overseas (e.g. to Asia)? Any customs or government type hurdles? How much does it roughly cost or range? Any recommendations on shipper?

 

I shipped a car from overseas to the US a few years ago. The costs to ship via RORO (roll-on, roll-off) vary greatly and depend on the pick-up and drop-off ports. When I shipped a car from the UK to the east coast, the cost was about $1k, not inclusive of the import taxes.

from long beach to honolulu, is 975, from long beach to guam is 2700, thats throught matson, they ship other places also

 

my bro shipped his MB to Germany when he moved there...but he had it in the container with all his belongings. It had to sit at customs for about 2 weeks i beleive while they took the thing apart for a thorough inspection.

 

I shiped two Dodge SRT-10 to Hamburg Germany from GA and I paid $1270 for each.
