Call me crazy but after seeing other people's gauge clusters, I'm wondering why mine says "Lancer" instead of "EVOLUTION"

Situation normal?
I call it my gay gauge...cause all it does is say "lancer" which in itself is highly gay.

 

I think mine says Lancer aswell.

All Evos have the 'Lancer'.

I believe all the USDM Evo's are like that. I seem to remember some of the older ones V, VI having Evolution there instead. It could also have been on the VII, I'm not entirely sure, but I know I've seen Evolution in the guage cluster at some point.

Edit: It might just be a USDM vs. JDM thing.

Yup it's normal. Mine says it as well which is gay!

 

there all like that unless you get aftermarket stuff...

 

I'd imagine any car running a GT40R would put the stamp on a stock Evo. =p

My said Lancer too. I think they all said Lancer.

 

i have never seen one that said evolution. of course i haven't seen all the evos in the world. mine says lancer, though.

 

dont evo vii's say evolution ?
