smoke
smoke
heres the thing... my car was on the dyno 2 days ago, during end of each pull theres a lil white smoke came out of the tailpipe. i wonder if i have a blown headgasket or bad turbo seal? the car drives fine, still holds boost and pulls hard. just a lil paranoid because its a new car.
So much misinformation in this thread it is amazing!!!!
Black = fuel
BLUE = oil
WHITE = coolant
now please....dont say anything if you dont know what you are talking about......

Really? The whole thread? ONE person got ONE thing wrong and you blow up like Hiroshima.
Will you be requiring a ladder to get down from that horse?
The evos will puff the smoke because of the oh so natural upper engine pressure that plagues the 4g63's if you look inside the intake of a brand new evo you will find vapor residue and the same vapor goes through the pcv valve when the throttle is closed so no worries.
Hey killboy:
Reread the three posts above me.....two guys were wrong and the third one said "thanks for pointing out the obvious" when the "obvious statement" was incorrect.......I think three out of four posts having misinformation is alot dont you???? And seeing how the first post was the OP asking a question.....that gives you 3 out of 3 captain......
So even looking from my high horse I can still read better than you. So next time you want to point something out to me you better make sure you are right there captain.......
Once again I warn you....if you dont know what you are talking about.....then dont say anything.
Reading is FUNDAMENTAL!!!

White Smoke: Water or Coolant, you could of had some condensation that burned off inside the exhaust. If it was a little amount don't even worry about it. If it does it after it is at operating tempature and at idle then you have something to worry about.

NO...you're acting like an ***. There are WHOLE threads with misinformation in them, and after 3 posts, you're acting like someone just kicked you in the *****. Effin relax... if you had a bad day, "don't say anything"
Hey JDMevoBOOST,
I know this is going to be hard for you to accept, but:
You are wrong.
You sure its white smoke?
White smoke is water,
Black smoke is rich A/F ratio,
Blue smoke is oil.
And then you said he was wrong stating:
So much misinformation in this thread it is amazing!!!!
Black = fuel
BLUE = oil
WHITE = coolant
now please....dont say anything if you dont know what you are talking about......
So yes reading is fundamental, and you're obviously not as good at it as you think you are there sport. Come on back down any time you're ready.
I know this is going to be hard for you to accept, but:
You are wrong.
