well just a guess but if something actually did "fry" then you would prolly smell it... some ecus have a little "light" on the outside that might indicate the status of the ecu... otherwise you might see some of the indicator lights on the dash not turn on or not operate correctly...

So your symptom is the ignition is swithced on but you don't get any accerories, and the vehicle is in a NCNS.

Im 99.9% sure its not an ECU issue. Your probably looking main fuse or starter relay. Its probably one of those black square fuses/circuit breakers/relays in your under hood fuse box

ok I don't think its your Ecm, possible a Fuesible link. I don't have the Ability to check Alldata right now, but thats what i would check first, they should be in your fuse box, they are the things with the translucent plastic cap. You should be able to see if they are broken or not. Also you can check the fuses with a test light, if you want to make a custom test ligt, you need a ligt for use with 12v, typicaly one that you can Unbend the contacts, and about 6ft of wire and a paper clip. Cut the wire so that 12 inches are left on one side and about 5 ft on the other, strip all end of the wire (remove about 1 inch of the insulation). Tie or wrap one end of the 5 length aroun one contact and the other side you ground. Do the same thing with the Smaller length but don't ground it, instead tie the other end to your paper clip and unbend it so you have a point. Electriclal tape would be a good sugestion, but isn't required. If you touch the paper clip to a "HOT" (B+) line the light will illuminate. So you check the fuses by Swithcing the ignition on and making sure both sides of the fuse make the lamp light up. If niether side has b+ then it isn't being use at that time.
