Evo 9 probs. please help

i got into my car this morning to go to the gas station because my gas light has been on since last night. im driving to the gas station and about half way there my car starts acting funny:

while driving as my car goes into boost right around 5psi it starts sputtering, the car itself starts stuttering and i see black smoke blowing in the wind out of my exhaust, so i keep puttin' it to the gas station and filled up hoping my prob was because i was extrememly low on gas. well after i fill up i start driving back home but its still doing it so i start testing it in each gear to see what is going on and in each gear as soon as i get anywhere between 3-5 psi it starts sputtering and the power feels like the turbo is doing exactly the opposite of what its supposed to do. (if you could imagine that) basically as soon as i start making boost it does a little nose dive, but you can still hear boost rising. but the car doesnt want to react to it. so i finally throw a CEL and went to check it, it threw a code of P0134 which is O2 SENSOR CKT NO ACTIVITY (BANK 1 SENSOR 1)

after that i opened evoscan and did a check for my self and this is what i got

Updated: 12:01:24
Vehicle speed sensor
Barometric pressure sensor
Knock sensor
Injector circuit
EGR sensor

did it again 15 mins later

Sounds just like you have a problem with the front 02 sensor. I am assuming you checked the codes with evoscan while the car was running. If you do that, it reads all those codes out. You have to check it with the key on but engine off. If the car is near stock just take it to the dealer.

Sounds sorta like missfire to me

Some people have posted that in boost they have missfire with bad plugs, wires

Just a couple ideas for you

When I first read your symptoms thats exactly what I was going to say because if you have a major boost leak, thats exactly what would happen but I was thrown off when you said front 02 sensor code. Anyway, glad to hear its fixed easily.

If it was running too rich - aka a "huge" boost leak - he may have fouled his 02 sensor.

The car did the same thing to me once, but you found the probem on your own. When it did it to me, the BOV came off of the intake pipe. Keep an eye on it.
