potential big boost problem helppp
I still don't know what you're talking about. We already explained why the MBC only gave 18psi - it was the soft spring. So now what is your question? Other Evo owners do not randomly see 24psi on the stock boost system - that is a bad thing. We don't know what you do to fix it, because we don't know what the problem is yet.
Oh ok well I dunno what the problem is either no clue, in my boost line there are little jets that look like nitrous jets do all evos have these tiny jets near the end of them? I have no clue what to do or how this problem could even occur
Ya those lol sry kinda resembled nitrous jets, are those necessary ? Cuz I'm missing one on the turbo line on the part connecting to the stock solenoid, I have on right at the beginning of the turbo tho, cud this be the problem?

You are having the same problem I had with my Forge. You have a older version and is spiking to 24psi even with the soft spring which should max at 19psi. It is erratic and can be resolved by cleaning the unit, and greasing the ball. Search the forums for cleaning Forge and you will find the method. Don't blame you for going hallman though, or the new Forge units.
where can I get one of those restrictors? I didn't think you needed them because when you put in a boost controller you replace the lines. Or do I only not need them if I'm using a boost controller. I hopr I didn't do too much damage
Honestly, if I were you I would just return the hallman and save $80. Its really easy to just change the spring. But if you insist on using the hallman then its kool too...we would just feel like we wasted our breath...haha
