i was talking to someone about the estimated life of an egt probe. from what i know, it's estimated to last several years. the person i talked to had an autometer egt gauge on his eclipse for 4 years before he sold the car and gauge worked perfectly through out.

he stated that the autometer has a fail safe where if the probe was to malfunction, the needle woulnd't move at all.

my question is that does anyone know if the defi offer teh same or similiar fail safe? thnx folks

i have the BF solution set up and for the price that i paid, im expecting some sort of a fail safe feature, lol.
