Seriously, it's a car, regardless of it's quality you need one thing to own it...money.

FWIW, if I had "money," I wouldn't be driving either, an Evo or an STi/STI. It would just be a waste of my $30,000+ to purchase either one, especially since their presence would only be eclipsed by Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Paganis, Porsches, and not to mention, numerous classic American Muscle Cars.
I can't imagine I'd be choosing to drive an Evo or an STi/STI over a 1970 Hemi Cuda, 1970 LS6 Chevelle SS, 1969 COPO Camaro, etc.
Considering the amount of cash I have to spend, the Evo and the STi/STI are unbeatable, and decent performers at any price point, but if I was making more money, the toys would get more expensive.
I remember hearing from soneone that Paul Walker's skyline is bad ***!!! Don't know if they read about it or something, but apparently it was setup to be a killer track car.
Jackie Chan driving an Evo kind of makes sense. Who else loved the chase scene in "Who Am I?"

I would deffinantly choose an EVO over a 1970 Hemi Cuda, 1970 LS6 Chevelle SS, 1969 COPO Camaro, etc.
Now the Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Paganis & Porsches, I would probably say bye to the EVO.
