Just received a used Oil Press guage and it reads 12psi?? problem??

Just received a used Oil Press guage and it reads 12psi?? problem??
Well I bought these guages used. BF series. I have seen other people post about the guages not reading 0, but I dont know if I should worry or not.
The guage reads a good amount above zero and nothing is plugged into it. I know others have take their guages apart and crimped the little tank, but I rather not do that if I dont have to.
I wont be able to afford installing these for a little while so I need to know if I should worry, or if the guage will zero out once it is installed?
Anyone else run into this? It's reading at 12psi.....

This is a DEFI BF oil pressure guage that reads 12 psi with nothing hooked up.....trying to see if there is something wrong, or somehting that will correct itself when powered up.
