Just wondering wher I can buy a carbon fiber drive shaft for an Evo 9 with 5 speed tranny. And how much I am expect to pay for one? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they ship from England. I would imagine that would be one hell of a freight charge, not to mention the cost of the driveshaft itself

I've spoken with these guys over the phone and via email. Very helpful and knowledgeable (sp?) group.

Although as stated before... the price isn't friendly. But again, you get what you pay for.

 

i think the price for the drive shaft from acpt is under a grand right!? i dont think it is that bad with the power you get from lossing that much rotational mass. but the question i was wondering how the durablility??

 

You also might want to consider an aluminum driveshaft...they are just about the same weight & strength wise as carbon fiber, but a whole lot cheaper.

 

Is the carbon fiber any stronger than the stock?
