I have been searching for what i'm guessing is called the air intake, that is the same as the stock one in the evo 9 but is carbon fiber. is there such a thing?

 

you mean a carbon fiber airbox, where you would put a drop in panel filter?

They are all kinda around that price man. Go look for a used one, that's what I did. Also are you looking for the full box, or just the top portion.

 

So I will be the one to ask why would you? What does this do other then look like a nice POS that would be sold?

 

I've personally spent a 1/3rd on each: power, suspension, and cosmetic. Popping your hood at a gathering is a part of the fun of owning these cars.

k keep searching on ebay. i need the full piece. mine is all FKED up! and my engine bay scheme is silver/chrome/carbon fiber.

maybe ill get lucky and not have to spend $250 on this small piece!

 

Thanks for the dumb comment but I have to object.....a stock CF airbox cover isn't going to make anymore power then the OEM part. Actually it isn't saving enough weight to even make the car any faster. I was simple asking because it seems like a bling item.....not really performance.

So guess what ahole your the actually dumb one. Everyone knows an actually intake kit not a CF airbox cover will make more power...noob
