The inlet to the HKS muffler is approximately 3 inches, however, the inside doesn't pass the Al "Coke can" test. I would point out that when my car was dynoed, the numbers didn't seem off. So...who knows how many hidden hp are there. It could be 1, it could be more. Whatever it is, I don't think it's much.

The Rnr Hks is Rnrs own modified version of the HKS. Better or not, I don't know. You would think the Rnr is better because of the 3 inch piping all of the way, but there are people using the original HKS with the tapering collectors who makes good power.

One other difference between the actual HKS carbon Ti system and RNR's version is that RNR's is Stainless steel piping all the way from the cat (or test pipe) to the canister. HKS' uses coated mild steel piping. (Ryan had posted that on here somewhere)

It's authentic but there are better options if you want an exhaust.

The RNR product is just "o.k."
You might have fitment issues as I did. It's really hit or miss.

id have to agree with this statment.....

My RnR Ti is a Genuine HKS muffler/can with RnR's own SS tubing, flanges & hangers

i believe only the tip is Ti

also, had some issues with my RnR exhaust as well, fitment as well as a broken hanger

Okay, I think everyone is clear that it is a genuine HKS muffler in the Rnr system, but my question is, is it a different HKS muffler then the one that comes with HSK's Evo system, one with a bigger internal diameter? Or does it have the same neck-down-in-cannister-beer-can-test-failing muffler?

It is the same.
It necks down inside the cannister.
It is not even close to 3 inches.
It's more closer to 2.5 inches.
Like I said before, there are better options out there.

1. RNR has stated in another thread.. their exhasut is a full 3 inch tubing to the hks carbon ti muffler tip of 4.5 inch..(120mm)
2. HKS does make a universal Carbon ti muffler.. go to the website

I should've worded it better.
What I meant was, the piping is 3inches but the piping inside the cannister is not 3inches.
It's more like 2.7inch inside the cannister.

titnium just went up 50% in value over the last fiscal year. So expect all titanium parts to go up in cost.
