Don't stock GSR's run 13.3 to 13.5 stock. I'd say if you could launch your how it is now you should be able to beat him. If not who cares. Your car is pretty much stock and the VW needs a stage 3 kit just to hang in the 1/4 mile. Now if you guys auto-x or Road race the evo will still beat the stage 3 VW. The only place the VW will probably beat the stock EVO is at a high speed oval track. I would worry. There way more important things than who's car is faster. In auto-x what the stock class for the VW D-Stock? The EVO is an A-Stock car. The VW will need much help just to perform at a stock EVO's level.

Getting a VW R32 to out perform an EVO is almost but not quite as hard as getting an evo to out perform a stock 07 Z06 in a race from 0 to 160 mph.

I dont think you have much to worry about, even with your bone stock Evo. Toss an exhaust on the car and call it a day.

Evo Green from Forced Performance. Add a fuel pump and alittle extra and you're good for 11s.

are you on socalevo.net? theres a few tuners down in socal that can help you out a lot. (road race engineering, tuning technologies, etc.)

rre for one has their stage 1+ which will bring you to about 348whp 345tq.

if you want to get serious, they both have their turbo kits which are good for about approx. 480whp give or take a few on 91oct.

we have a few of those running around here. An AMS Stage 1-3 will take care of him just fine. FWD is a killer
