Hopefully someone can help me out i have the profec b and its almost to where i want it, but in third, fourth, and prolly 5th havent tried it yet, if i am driving normally and when i hit 4,000 rpm my wasgate sounds like its opening it flutters a bit then closes on me while my foot is still on the gas. what is causing that and how do i fix it.

 

What is your start boost set to?

 

set ur start boost at 14psi which is 140 on greddy unit's readout. regardless what u set ur startboost at, u'll have alil flutter. it's normal.

 

it stutters and then my blowoff valve goes off while im still on the gas and my start boost is at 155.

 

well I have the profec B II and when I tunned my car I was boosting 24-25 psi but since I have stock wastegate it just keep fluttering a bit, and it depends on how many rpm you running because if you start boosting in 3k rpm it just make it worse. meabe the problem is wastegate or setting (get tunned Recommend)

i had my set gain at 155 and it made my wastegate open up and close on me and i was told to turn it down to 120 -140 and i have it at 120 and it still does it. whats the deal, why does it do that? im thinking about selling it and getting a MBC.

 

You don't know how to use the EBC, so you should go ahead and get a simple MBC - it will work perfectly right away.

 

I'll send you my settings along with what mods I'm running for comparison. This does take a while to search out, and everyone runs different settings, everyone has their own personal feelings about EBC compared to MBC. I'll try to help you out with what I got.
