pros:
nice paint job!
it at least looks fast
way better then the Green Evo7 in the movie
system install looks very clean

cons:
the wheels aren't to my liking
looks a little trashy with all the stickers & graphics (could be much worse though!)

yuk.. Sorry don't like the paint job or what they did to the interior.. I like color matching but too many colors happening.. Normally i hate add on tachs.. but since you can't see the one in the evo well, i will let that go

Looks like they where trying to find ways to waste money.. How the hell did they blow 50Gs?

As for the engine bay, no complaints there

I agree with the others, the rims don't belong on an evo.

I 'bout fell out of my seat when I read that post. Thanks! I'm still chuckling over here.

Damn nice car. Any stats on what it actually does? All looks? Or do those purdy things actually make it go faster? Guess I need to read the rest of the thread and see if anyone already addressed this.

I mean, come on dude, really. The sequel comes out next month on the sixth, do you really think they're going to put it on DVD three days earlier? Also the poster has Vin Diesel on it, who is most notably not in the sequel, and it says "the Fast and the Furious" not "2Fast 2Furious" so it is obviously some sort of Special Edition of the first movie.

The car is a lot nicer then I would expect from the "FnF' Factory. At least it doesn't have any Transformers or Gobots on the side. Plus, any car with more vinyl then body modification looks overdone IMO. I guess they weren't interested in fabbing up a custom bodykit. I like the color though. Not bad for probably the first heavily moddified 8 in the country.

Meh, it's OK. Looks at lot better than the 2F2F EVO.
That FMIC is huge!!! I hope it's fast.
SCC tested 2F2F EVO and it only ran 15.7 1/4 mile. WTF!

You mean super 2NR? I wish they poped the hood on that car. You never know what engine is in there.

The paint job is very nice. I'm just not sure it quite belongs on the Evo. A little too classy of a color for the aggressiveness of the car. As for the $50,000 spent it was easy. This will also answer some others questions. The car puts down over 500 awhp! It's fast, so believe the mods are for real. I believe it has HKS twins on there. The paint job was a professionally done job. All panels were taken off stripped and painted. That paint job cost at least $15K probably closer to $20K. It has LCD's inside the car and in the trunk. Fully decked out sound system, roll cage, custon upholstery, painted interior parts, guages, NOS, etc. They may be including labor as well. It has at least $10K in mods in the engine alone. The wheels with tires are probably running $3-4K at least. There's a lot of crap in that car. You have to see it in person.

The new DVD comes out June 3rd. Its called "The Fast and the Furious - Tricked Out Edition." How creative I guess that means it's going to have a NOS fogger system, a T66, and a MoTeC Systems exhaust Actually, its going to have a short film with Paul Walker called "The Road to 2 Fast 2 Furious" that is supposed to bridge the gap between FNF1 and FNF2. And, its going to have "multi-angle car shots that branch off from the movie itself." And, as if it can get any more furiouser, so to speak, there is a featurette called "Faster and More Furious" that is going to show you how to "trick out your car." Should be worth a rent, much like the movie itself was. Fun to watch, but the technical stuff in it sucked, and most of the dialog was pretty lame. Oh well.

Then why did you spend so much extra on what is apparently just a regular Lancer? To each their own. The car looks like *** wingless. Don't care for graphics on a car but it is advertising. I would love to see what that car runs at the track. High 10's easy.

I don't know about the car hitting high 10's. They did add quite a lot of weight putting in all the audio and dress up stuff.

Might be quick, but I don't think it'll ever be quick enough to not look like a$$.

For all of the weight they added they took out just as much. There's no backseat in the car. If Buschur's Evo is capable of running 11's (according to them) this car has 200+ more whp. High 10's are definitely there. Dress up stuff? Like what the LCD screens that weigh about 12 oz. Maybe 1lb or 2 at most. If you saw it in person I believe everyone would feel otherwise. I thought the Evo looked like a$$ in photos. Turns out I love the way the car looks now. Mostly because in person it looks 100x better. Same story goes here.

I don't like it. I'm not a big fan of fancy paint, and the maroon color reminds me of my parents Buick Regal. The wheels look like something you could buy as a wheel cover. Lose the 300 gigawatt stereo stuff.

Jeebis, I'm an old grump..

Nice car I'm sure, just not my style
