Not sure if Mitsu has started shipping the Evo to the U.S with the GT (standard) spoiler. But if anyone has one in silver and can post pics it will be great appreciated.

Looking to get Evo with no options as I am not a big fan of the huge spoiler and I don't like sunroofs.

It was a choice between the Evo or the STi (same choice many of you are going through) but I believe the Evo has stuck to its traditional roots in WRC where the STi has intentionally slotted in a larger displacement engine JUST for us U.S. market to take sales away from the Evo while ignoring it's own roots in WRC.

Also I like the way the Evo looks much better and those Recaros are great loking

 

It's gonna be incrediblly difficult to find one with the GT spoiler option because they are importing so few. I had to settle for the large CF spoiler but I have a plan for it thanks to the 2004 Lancer Ralliart that goes on sale this summer (see pic). This spoiler will be a direct bolt-on replacement where the GT spoiler from the OZ model which is the one used for the 2003 EVOhas a center strut and requires additional holes in the center of the trunk lid for mounting. The one in the pic will swap on and off so it can be reinstalled for resale.

Yea it seems to be a Evo VII. Possibly imported. Theres also a Evo VI at that place, but not in that pic.
