that is a smooth trunk...but seriously how much of a freak does one have to be to bid on PS3's on ebay when the prices are in the $1500-$1900 range? Right after Xmas the prices will be down to the $300-400 range...granted blueray disc is cool but that is a ridiculous impulse buy.

 

PS3 that sold for 3K + all were bought by bogus bidders. You should be able to get close to $2k for 60gig PS3.

I have 1 60gig PS3 and 1 20gig PS3. I bought the 60gig and won 20 gig from Circuit City here in New York this past thursday night. I want to sell both of them, and then buy 60gig PS3 in February when Virtua FIghter 5 comes out. However I will put them on Ebay early December, there are just too many PS3s right now for sale.

 

Damn you're so lucky, but yeah spending over a grand on a game system is just dumb.

Thats because everyone is phantom bidding them....I find it really funny how all these people bought these systems thinking they were going to make all this money......hahahah but there are like 30 pages of PS3's right now and nobody is bidding on them ROFL my WAFFLE!!!!

All of these people waited outside for like two days and they are going to end up getting a $400 dollar profit which is like $10/hour bahahah......some of them are going to end up keeping them. And we all know the first version is going to have bugs and flaws like the PS2......so thats why everyone is waiting.

But still this makes it all very good entertainment. HAha....but I did play it at Target and it looked pretty damn good even compared to 360. So yah I will be buying one, but from a store at a normal price. I hope you at least make some money, because if not then Sony got exactly what they wanted......HYPE

It's sad that some posters on this post have stated they would help the original poster out by bidding and bumping up the price, which is exactly what you posted........phantom bids.

I have no problem if you made a profit but at least in a fair manner.

For me the videogame console wars ended with the SNES and Genesis

I'll pick up a PS3 when they are at $300.00.

this thing got WAY over hyped, I feel bad for the people that can't even afford those ps3's and are buying them with hopes of making thousands of dollars. . .with the way the economy is, most people are willing to WAIT for ps3's to be in stores next year, especially with the bugs worked out, and the hyped cool off. . .

Don't you guys remember the PS2 hype? I waited a whole year and got a PS2 with the new firmware, without the hype. . .AND FOR RETAIL!

 

I don't feel bad for them.. hell it would be sweet if they couldnt sell them at retail price. I don't feel bad for the people who actually wanted to buy one to play.. I just have a hard time feeling bad for anyone willing to pay 600 to play video games.
