What is the unlock verion?

 

I just want the damn Blu-Ray player in the PS3 so I can take advantage of my 1080p big screen! I was pissed to see Samsung only dropped the price on their player by $100 and no price drop on the Sony. I've had the TV since June with no 1080p content. 2009 can't come soon enough

 

I think that means it is compatable with any playstation CD from US or Japan

 

deff need to get out more if your that excited abotu a playstation console that will be about $400 in 6 months, they will be giving them away....

that doesn't make sense, the longer you wait the less valuable it becomes. People wanted them on launch date. ebay has a cap of 2500 so if you didn't sell it in the first few days you'll only sell them for at most 2500 and thats if you include games and more controllers . . . no one wants to pay that much now

I had the same mod as well. We sold 2 on ebay!!!
