Hey everyone...I have done strictly performance mods to my IX RS since Ive gotten it. It is 100% cosmetically stock. I think I want to cosmetically enhance it just a little. I dont want to make it like every other import. I figured: Why not have it look like a rally car like it was meant to be? Thats what I settled on.

So far, I feel like the main WRC Evo IX rally car cosmetic mods are the following:

- Mudflaps
- Wing (which my IX RS does not have - FEEL FREE TO PM ME IF SOME OTHER LOCAL IX RR WANTS TO TRADE THEIR WINGED LID FOR MY WINGLESS LID)
- Hood vents (which I doubt I will install because they are rare to find and a PITA to install and paint)

What else could I do besides performance mods to make it look more "rallyish?"

Well interior wise you could remove all carpet, sound deading, rear seats and install a rollcage , four point harness.

Make sure you get those really big rally headlight things, that ones that like bolt onto the frontend of the car and look like spotlights.

4 lug is all about weight savings....

 

4 lugs probably time-saving as well when changing wheels/tires

i do recall sometimes they run smaller brakes

but for a rallye look
raise it up a few inches
get the OZ rallye rims
michelin skinny gravel tires from subysport
