What do I need...

I have an 05 evo ssl, it has HID headlights, but it has halogen bulbs ghettoley wired in somehow... (the guy I bought it from did this)

What do I need to make the HID bulbs work other than just the bulbs? I dont know much about HID's so before I take it all apart, I want to know what else I might need to make them work. Like plugs, ignitor (I dont know what that is or if I already have it), etc...

I thought SSL didn't have HIDs. Maybe you're thinking of the SE which does have HIDs?

I thought all he needed would be the HID bulbs since only the bulbs were replaced? or am I wrong?

You need a little bit of dijon mustard, ketchup, some relish, sauerkraut....oohh I mean you need to take the car into the dealer or a body shop and have them install and aim the HID light for you; believe me that they are a bastard to aim because of they are projector style.

ttt for one more question..

Does anyone know if 9007 (I think thats what they are) halogen bulbs have the same plug or firment as D2S HID bulbs? Cuz the halogen bulbs are obviously in there, but the projection of light is so poor that I am wondering whether or not they even fit and thats why they suck so much

Well I took them apart... I am missing the HID bulbs and ballasts. I think someone stole them or something from the previous owner. It has H7 bulbs and they point directly at the ground. My electronic aimer is all the way up.... And I cant figure out how to aim the headlights.
