When it's wet it is closed. They do that for obvious safety reasons and to maintain a solid, flat surface. Send myself or Crasher a PM when you are going to head up there next and we'll let you know when/if we can go. Tryin' to get a group of my friends to go:
  • 2006 Ford Mustang GT
  • 2005 Dodge SRT-4 Acr package
  • 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX (RR) (Crasher)
  • 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX (AS) (Me)
  • 2006 Subaru WRX (blue)
  • 2005 Subaru WRX (white)

Figure that group plus some of any willing here at Evom.net would make for great photos, amazing videos, and one incredible time. With all of us working and school getting everyone together at the same time proves difficult. hopefully it doesn't rain anytime soon.

that section of video wasnt your first attempt though was it? When i watched the video i though 'wow, dudes got some brass ***** for being so fresh and coming in that close to another car at those speeds' either that or you're just nuts... either way

lol. It was my first day of drifting. We were only there about 2 hours and I believe that was near the end. We only played about 30min after that. I actually wasn't going THAT fast because I didn't want to mess my buddies car up if I totally messed up. I had complete control of the car. About an hour earlier I was making HUGE non-stop drifts in multi directs at 70-80mph (big open area - very safe). thats when you learn. And thanks

By the way, no one asked if I raced my SRT-4 Friend. What a perfectly legal and amazing opportunity to finally race each other and no one on these forums seems a bit curious as to the outcome of such races. Oh Well.
