if the harness is/are D.O.T (dept. of trasportation) approved the cops cannot do anything to you.

my homie thinks he's cool cause he wears a 5pt all day when he drives. he says as long as it's DOT approved then it's okay. it had something to do with the quick circular release models. he also thinks he's cool cause he has a rb25dett in his 240.

harneses are fine just be sure to weld in a cage so you can mount them properly.

there are plenty of people who think thats cool...
theres a few srt-4's round here with harnesses that are nowhere
near fast enough to need one...

My friend had harnesses in his Mazdaspeed Miata. He really didnt have a choice, but to use harnesses due to the racing seat, but the cops never hassled him or me when i drove it about em. BTW... Straight piped Mazdaspeed Miatas sound meaner than any V8 i have ever heard...

Harnesses in a street car are gay. I've never felt more stupid than when I was wearing harnesses in my buddies 500whp hatch. I just kept thinking if we crash hard enough for these to make any difference from a normal seatbelt we're going to die anyway so what's the point?
