i hate to do this, but another BOV question boils to 2 of them?

I want to get the APS bov unit or the JDM MR bov, but will the jdm mr bov have a good sound or is it silent like the stock one? I see these selling like hotcakes on here so im assuming its putting out some decent sound and is still mitsubishi part?

I want to if the jdm mr bov doesnt give the effect, then is the APS bov the closest to excellence? anyone running this bov on a bone dry stock IX?

well most people who get the jdm mr bov are getting because it holds 23,24,25 psi .. not because it makes a better sound than the stocker..

jdm mr bov wont make any cool sound. but will hold boost very well. with an aftermarket intake it will make that "cool" sound

aps bov will make a good sound and is a very good bov but if you are looking to modify your car for cheap then mr bov is the way to go

thank you for the sincere replies
what long term effects can an APS bov do on your turbo/engine and will it give bad results when I take it into mitsu for any type of repair?

im afraid of mitsu dealerships its like going home to parents when you were little and you got a bad grade and they are waiting to chew you up.

Aps bucks and flutters on throttle lifts. Drivability on the jdm mr is better, but both will hold boost.

The JDM BOV and the IX BOV are essentially the same thing. They will hold the same 23-25lbs of boost as they are metal and not plastic like the 03-04 BOV.

The APS is an alternative that will mak noise and hold good boost but will still dump extra fuel between shifts due to it venting some of the metered air out

Yea but if you getting or have a IX theres no need to touch the BOV cause the BOV in it is metal just like the JDM MR one. They are basically the same thing

Please buy my forge evo15 valve. I personally hate it, but many people love it.
