centrifugal Supercharger to spool larger turbo
I know a twin charger Evo was built but I was wondering if anyone has attempted using a Centrifugal Supercharger to spool a large turbo? I figure the turbo manifold setup could be scraped and replaced with a header. I ask this question because my goal is to have a large turbo with quick spool. I have a spare evo 9 block and head that has been built sitting on an engine stand, and I look at it everynight wondering if I should do something different. I figure that my evo will end up not having an AC compressor or powersteering, that should leave me some room to customise a few things. If anyone has anyadvice on this let me know....
any ideas would help

nitrous is more commonly used to spool turbos and definitely much less expensive

I'd kill someone if it didn't have power steering or A/C.
Getting rid of the power steering is might not be a good idea unless this will be a straight track ONLY car. The power steering gives you more leverage to maintain control of the car during quick or abrupt maneuvers. The quick ratio steering of these cars already transmits too much sterring feedback over road abnormalities. Without power steering, you will be fighting the wheel more, and it will be even harder to hold onto if you need to quickly regain control. I also know that most race cars don't have power steering and they work fine, but they were designed that way, the Evo wasn't. In my (nearly worthless) opinion, it's definately not worth the minimal horsepower gain and almost negligible weight reduction.
Speaking of no power steering, they have a turbo kit for the old supercharged MR2's from the 80's. The turbo feeds into the supercharger and then into the engine, but I don't know how it works. It's a cool idea.
