how can you tell if the downpipe

is leaking or not? I just installed Espiler DP and Apexi cat back. It sounds like the air is coming out of the pipe, like "seak, seak, seak, seak...". Also I can hear the tubor spin up pretty loud at full boost. It sounds almost like a big truck at full boost. I am trying to distiguish between the leak and the tubor sound. Please help me guys.

If you but a cheap sthethascope....cut off the round end, then stick a 6-8 " metal brake hard line into the hose. With the car at idle, listen to the ends of the DP, you should hear the leak...

My best guess is that the "r" being out of place is making that noise... Try stuffing a dictionary in the leak...

Seriously though, I'd bet the leak is at the donut gasket between th O2 housing and the downpipe.

I did but the turbo still sounds louder than usual at full boost. Is that what it should sound like after the installation of the DP and the Cat Back. I might want to buy a new gasket and try everything all over. I am thinking of putting back the stock DP and see if the noise is still there, than put the after market DP back on.

The turbo sounds louder at full boost with a TBE, because you are probably spiking. I put on a TBE last week and am now spiking to 24psi and tapering off to 19-20psi by redline. Who knows how accurate the guage is.....the turbo will sound much louder than stock.
