What is this nipple for? pics

i noticed this nipple on the intake had no hose going to it when i was installing my boost controller. what does it go to?

It connects to the valve cover nipple right above it.

Its hard to tell, but it looks like it was the one that ran to the Valvecover (breather)

Is there a catch can or something?

If its not capped, put a cap on it or you'll get unemetered air into the intake after the MAF.

cap it off or put it back together b/c its sucking unfiltered/ unmetered air through it.

thanks for the quick responses, im guessing when i had my tranny fix they took it off and never put it back on. been driving for like a little over a week like that. i should be good right? i just reconnected it

I believe that goes to the crankcase breather hose, which is (probably) the piece of hose with the rubber heat wrapping not connected to anything in the second picture.

F I'm slow.
