Just feeling a bit nostalgic, remembering the first time I drove my car. It was when I took it for a test drive. I had been driving around a lightly modded 2002 mustang gt for a couple years. A friend told my that once I drive it I will buy it. After about 5 minutes behind the wheel I realized that the mustang could not compare. I love my Evo.

 

I had ridden in one first....thought the car was amazing.

When I went to he dealer and test drove it I literally knew I wanted it after pulling out of the dealer lot.

Haven't looked back since.

 

i did not even test drive mine. i went to the dealer and said give me. lol. i want it. did some well alot of paper work and took it home 3 days later. to add the the story. my dad was my co signer. when we was leaveing the dealer a kid came in with his dad and saw me leaving with the evo. they started talking to my dad and the sales man. and the sales guy was like yea its a fast car. 271hp awd bla bla. my dad thought i was getting a normal car. he freaked. lmfao anyway my 1st drive in it. lol. well it was the only evo around so i got alot of atention. that nite i took it to the local dunkin donuts to show off my ****. well i had the crowd in my hands. till i left. i backed up and started in 3rd gear. i thought i was in 1st. guess not. i stalled it. must of ben 50+ people watching. man ill never forget that day.

 

My brother drove me home in mine becuase i did not know how to drive stick . lol

i went from a daewoo lanos to a evo 9

took me 1-2 days to get the stick down . now i wished all my past cars was stick. becuase it fun to drive

first time i drove an evo i had my aunt in the car and i hit boost and she was going crazy! she wanted to kill me, but yea can't forget those times when i thought i was badass until i met other evo owners.. =)

 

1st time i drove one was my friends meth injected evo with 390hp and 410 torque on the stock turbo... I was driving a SR20'd 240 at the time and when i drove it it scared the living sh*t out of me! God i love my evo!

 

I flew to Boston from ATL and bought my Evo without ever having driven one before

 

Gotta love the meth! Just had a kit installed on my IX SE!

 

My first car was an acura rsx type s
I had it for 1 month some lady hit me and totaled it. Anyway I had it for 1 month, next weeek I get a evo9 mr.....
So in 1 month I had 2 cars
My second car is this evo mr. Its ok

 

First time I drove my Evo I almost wrecked it cause it was my first time driving a RHD car. After a couple days it was second nature.

 

I had to drive 100 miles just to see an Evo. The salesman said I fit the profile of a buyer - huh??? and insisted I drive the car. So, we were out in about three lanes of one-way traffic, I was in the right lane and wanted to be in the left lane, cars all around. Poof, I was there like magic. It was sweet. Now it seems normal.

 

I remember I had my evo delivered to my house and got pulled over 1 min later after I took it out.. The pull was so amazing I was scared of the car at first.. luckily the cop was an evo owner too he was like " I seen you fly by me and I was like oh **** evo no chance" then since I was pulled over he caught up to me and I told him I didnt know boost kicked in so low and he laughed and said enjoy it and drove away

 

i was smiling the whole way driving home...my sister told me to stop smiling. LOL

 

first time was when i drove it off the lot going to work i was so happy and i was driving so carefully on the highway but still hitting the 70 mph

 

The first time i drove it i fell in love with it. Traded in my 03 civic si the same day.
